Suddath Logistics Group received the following letter from a
leading project management consultant thanking our team
for our successful execution of a project to relocate a large
volume of specialized equipment.
February 10, 2011
Mr. Brett Macker, President
Centra Worldwide, Inc.
Suddath Logistics Group
Dear Mr. Macker:
Project Cycle involved the redeployment of over 750
production assets from two facilities located in central Illinois
to Shelby, N.C. The process was complicated by extended
negotiations between the principal parties involved in the sale of
the assets and resolution of some major changes to the original
assumptions used to develop the scope of the project. Your
organization responded quickly and professionally to these changes
and after 3 months of delays launched this project under a
compressed lead time.
The coordination and working relationship between Suddath
Logistics [and your rigging and packing vendors] made the project
progress smoothly and in a timely fashion. You assured that
each asset was prepared and protected for shipment and each
manufacturing cell loaded in sequence for ease of installation at
the receiving plant.
The entire redeployment process was completed on schedule in
spite of inclement weather encountered in the midst of the
move.
Please extend my sincerest thanks and appreciation to each
member of Suddath Logistics Group for a job well done. Rest
assured your company will be at the top of my list to participate
in any future projects that I may be awarded.
